TEAM MEMBERS

The founders and coordinators of this initiative are four biologists who are currently carrying out their scientific research under CONICET at the Institute of Marine Organisms Biology (IBIOMAR), in the city of Puerto Madryn (northern Patagonia).

Gregorio Bigatti

Scientific Director and co-founder

Marine biologist, Principal Researcher of CONICET and Associate Professor of the UNPSJB. His studies are focused on the integrative biology of marine invertebrates, with emphasis on the conservation of marine ecosystems.

Federico Márquez

Outreach Director and co-founder

Marine biologist, Independent Researcher of CONICET and Associate Professor of the UNPSJB. His research focuses on topics of evolutionary ecology, mainly the phenotypic adaptations of organisms to their environment.

Martín brogger

Executive Director and co-founder

Marine biologist, Associate Researcher of CONICET. His research focuses on the biodiversity and morphology of a particular group of marine animals, called echinoderms, which includes starfish and sea urchins.

Gonzalo Bravo

Scientific Diving Director and co-founder

Marine biologist, Master in Oceanography and current PhD student in CONICET. His research interests lie in the study of communities associated with rocky reefs and coastal oceanography.
