ROCKY REEF BIODIVERSITY
This project aims to study the benthic biodiversity (species richness and abundance) of rocky reefs at both a local scale (Nuevo Gulf) and a broader biogeographic scale (Patagonian coast). The research is conducted through diving expeditions, during which data on marine invertebrates and algae are collected using non-extractive and image-based sampling protocols.
INTERTIDAL BIODIVERSITY
Monitoring the biodiversity of rocky shores in Argentina. This project is part of the MBON Pole to Pole initiative, which aims to facilitate the integration of biological and environmental data from countries along the Pacific and Atlantic coasts of the Americas.

Blue Carbon in Salt Marshes of Patagonia
We studie blue carbon in salt marshes of northern Península Valdés, assessing how vegetation and environmental factors influence carbon storage. Through sediment and biomass analysis and drone imagery, we generate useful information to conserve these key ecosystems in the face of climate change and to support evidence-based public policies.
